In the vibrant neighborhood of Chiswick, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve obtained planning permission for an exceptional change of use project. This transformation involves converting a single dwelling into two remarkable apartments, accompanied by commercial retail space. With meticulous working drawings completed, we’re eagerly preparing to commence construction, injecting new energy and possibilities into the neighborhood.

Moving westward to West Drayton, we’re embarking on an exciting venture. Our team is about to break ground on a conversion project that will transform a light industrial unit into eight stylish duplex apartments. Our focus remains on optimizing space and functionality, providing future residents with contemporary and comfortable living environments. We’re enthusiastic about the positive impact these projects will have on the communities they serve.

Loft Conversion

In Horsforth, near Leeds, we recently had the privilege of assisting a client with a loft conversion project. Their previous application for a new dormer with a terrace was refused, even after an appeal. However, we thoroughly reviewed the case and developed a revised design that not only included the desired terrace but also expanded the usable loft space. We’re delighted to share that the new application was approved in late December, allowing us to enhance both the living space and the property’s overall enjoyment.

Riverside Living

Now, let’s venture to the scenic town of Billingshurst in West Sussex, where we’re involved in an extraordinary project. Firstly, this domestic house extension is one of the largest we’ve ever undertaken. Moreover, the existing property boasts eight bedrooms and private access to a nearby river. Our design envisions a captivating 234m2 extension enveloped in frameless structural glass. Additionally, it features bronzed patina aluminum cladding and vertical slats, blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment. This stunning addition includes a kitchen extension that gracefully cantilevers over the water, capturing breathtaking views and abundant natural light. Notably, this innovative design maximizes the connection to nature and enhances the overall living experience.

A connecting glass link, reminiscent of an art gallery, seamlessly bridges the two expansive extensions, leading to a gym area overlooking an external swimming pool. Moreover, with planning permission granted in December 2019, we’re diligently finalizing the comprehensive working drawing package. Consequently, we anticipate breaking ground in the near future, with an estimated completion timeline of late 2021 or early 2022. Undoubtedly, this project truly showcases our commitment to pushing architectural boundaries and creating spaces that inspire and delight.
